According to the website Switched who did an article on strange yet sexy gadgets http://www.switched.com/2008/02/14/freaky-geeky-gadgets-for-valentines-day/ more gadgets are better able to shoot in low light conditions. However some of the latest gizmos, that allow you to do things like film in almost dark also seem to suggest possibilities for those who sell sexual services via a webcam or simply those who want to send an intensely personal message.
The video recorder that is supposed to be able to capture images even in the dimmest of candlelight situations is called the Canon HV20. This camera is high definition and has incredible resolution. This of course comes in handy when it is time to “dim” the lights and broadcast that romantic video.
One of the more romantic of inventions lately is a video recorder that relays images when it is time to “dim the lights” and shoot that romantic scan. This flashy new piece of technology is called the Canon HV20. It is a high definition camcorder that is able to shoot in very low light.
Aside from using it to transmit images to a far away lover over the internet there are many more applications for this camera This is the ideal camera to use if you are thinking about shooting in dark nightclubs or any type of low light situation such as in a movie theater. This new Canon promises to be a valuable tool for shooting in the dark no matter where you are. You can take it out at night and shoot the entire red light district of Amsterdam if you want. You could take it camping and film the boy scout troupe singing and playing guitar under the stars.
Switcher also suggests the Canon as being the weapon of choice for young heiresses who want to make a name for them like Paris Hilton. This is probably not just a joke.
There are also other gadgets that help you connect with that loved one far away.
For broadcasting yourself live online to a lover that may be far away there is also the Logitech Quickcam Orbit AF webcam for making a digital video connection online. This odd little web cam has a motorized base that allows it to track you wherever you might go around the bedroom so you are always in the frame. No more fussing with cameras so that you are in the frame.
Finally, there’s the Plantronics 510 Bluetooth headset, a wireless headset that lets you chat with the one you love up to forty away from your phone so you can (as Switcher puts it) be free to do other things with your hands.
Of course these gadgets that leave you hands free and follow you around the room also have important business applications. They can allow you to demonstrate products online or train employees on equipment without having to worry whether or not you are in focus. These types of gadgets would also be of great assistance to the disabled.

According to Trading Markets, the tourist attraction known as Valljo Six Flags has found a way to keep their customers from being bored while they are standing in line to go on of their many rides.
This amusement park, mostly known for its irritating theme music that people complain they can never get out of their heads have installed an entire media network complete with gadgets like fort-five inch plasma television, interactive signage and advertising for their corporate partners.
The idea is to keep people entertained. The host of all of this programming of course is going to be the park’s wacky host “Captain Lee.” This is a move that will bring the theme park into the digital age. The corporate partners will be happy because their signage is everywhere and blinking in parking lots, near animal cages and at the entry ways to rides. Still the Six Flags company maintains that this is not anything that looks tacky and that all of the signs are tasteful and in theme. For instance the big blinking television near the giraffe environment has a tasteful safari theme.
So just what type of programming will be on those big screen televisions? Mostly it will be Six Flags advertisements interspersed with programming from Dick Clark’s company. Dick Clark is a corporation that is affiliated with the Six Flags amusement theme parks. This means that while you are standing in line you will be able to watch such Dick Clark masterpieces as Since its inception in 1957, the company has produced a number of television shows, television specials and televised movies. Such programs include American Bandstand, Where The Action Is, TV Bloopers & Practical Jokes, Camp Midnite, and the NBC series American Dreams (which includes classic footage from American Bandstand).
Its work also includes such specials as its first awards show, American Music Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, the Golden Globe Awards and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve.
Flags Television, which also present guests with entertainment and promotional programming with Bluetooth technology for downloading and exclusive music videos, text-n-win capabilities. The amusement park will now even offer its very own ring tones ring tones.
Yet another feature will be Six Flags Radio that like Disney World will broadcast themed content, commercials and information that is meant to interest adults and teens.
Aside from having television programming there will also be cell phone chargers installed everywhere throughout the park. There will also be free videogames broadcast through the park’s Wii enablement.
There will also be a Six Flags Printing press that will now distribute more than nine million maps, guides and daily schedules. These will also be available for downloading online.
To handle future heat waves families standing in line will also now be automatically misted down while they are standing in line, watching television, talking on the fun and playing video games. This automatic “watering” of hot bodies was first seen in Japanese amusement parks and it is one of the many answers to cooling people down during bad “global warming” days.

Androids are hot commodities thanks to Google. Google runs something called the Open Handset Alliance which features phones and hand held computers that are more friendly to activities like surfing on the Internet. The screen is huge and it is an open-faced type of unit that is very bright. It is of course very user friendly as that is what Google is about as a company and if Google ever got into hardware development it is likely it would be a strong competitor for Apple as it has the same kind of fun reputation.
An Android is really just a touch screen version of the computer you have at home only you can hold it in your plan but its main feature is that it incorporates Google right into all of its functionality.
However there is more to an Android phone than that. Android is a structure forms the basis for Google’s operating system and supporting software for phones. Google calls it a software stack. It is probably the closest to a G phone that we will ever have (Google-phone). Google hasn’t indicated it will ever enter the hardware business but it is certainly influential when it comes to software for organizers and cell phones.
Almost every company that makes phones or organizers is announcing that they are going to make their version of an android phone some day and the latest to jump on the bandwagon is Samsung which is going to make their own in 2009. This is scary for some of Samsung’s competition as the company is notorious for cranking out new models of phones at a speed that is hard for other manufacturers to keep up with. Several of the company’s regular handsets are already very Google friendly and support Google type functionality.
Carriers currently in the history changing Google alliance include, Sprint Nextel, Telecom Italia, Telefonica China Mobile, KDDI, NTT DoCoMo, and T-Mobile. T-Mobile and Sprint Nextel are US carriers of the new Android capabilities.
According to Reuters, chipmaker ARM has plans to show off an Android-based “Google Phone” prototype at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The first android powered devices are expected in the second half of 2008.
The really big companies like Dell computers are withholding any news of whether or not they are developing the capability for these types of software stacks from Google. There was a rumor going around, spread by enthusiastic bloggers that Dell was inventing a G-Phone which would be hardware that would specifically support the Android stack of software. This rumor was shot down because there is no way that Google would specifically get involved with one manufacturer if it could help it. Yet another rumor that went around was that AT&T was developing a similar phone.
