The movies have great gadgets in them. Some of them would be very useful if they existed in real life.
A great example is the Memory Eraser Pen used in the movies Men in Black and Men in Black II. flash. It would come handy in every situation especially if you have a tendency of screwing up everything. Did you mess up the work at office? Flash it at the boss. Is someone angry with you? Give him a flash. Did your lover dump you? Flash it at yourself and forget what happened.
How about having the R2D2 Robot as seen in Star Wars as your best buddy. It could be your personal butler. It could serve you drinks, rub your feet, fetch the newspaper. It could do practically anything you wanted except have sex with you. Furthermore it could be like a big USB storage unit, only it is on wheels. Speaking of wheels you could get it to pull things for you as well. It could tow your groceries home or tow your dirty laundry to the Laundromat.
Another great gadget to own would be that super sophisticated computer that you see in the movie Minority Report. This is a very cool computer because it is clear like a big windshield. You stand in front of it and wave your hands around like it was a Wii unit. Computers without keyboards are cool gadgets in general.
Yet another whimsical gadget that should be invented is the Copter Hat as seen in the movie Inspector Gadget. This is just an ordinary men’s hat with whirling helicopter blades on top. Aside from allowing you to fly from building to building this gadget also could be quite useful. It could be used to lift the elderly or disabled up staircases.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could just get a full education by sitting in a chair? Remember the chair in the Matrix. Keanu Reaves got full accreditation and training as a helicopter pilot simply by sitting inside it for a few minutes.
One of the most interesting gadgets recently seen in a movie is the Swiss Army Knife that was featured in the new Get Smart movie. It had all the usual functions but also a few extras such as a blowgun, flame thrower and a mini harpoon gun.
Finally who would not want the bat mobile! Although its not exactly a gadget it is the coolest gadget ridden car ever invented in movie history – even beating out some of the more glamorous gadget ridden cars seen in the James Bond movies.
