There are a lot of beautiful new shower designs and shower gadgets out there. However one of the most wonderful is the newest eco shower. The Quench Water-Recycling Shower environmentally sustainable water conservation shower that allows you to indulge as long as you want without wasting water. It allows you to take longer showers while saving up to 82% water and 87% energy.
The showering process in the Quench system is divided into two parts: the first part is a regular shower mode where you soap up, shampoo and rinse off. Once you rinsed off the soap, you press a button for auto-mode showering which involves building up a reservoir of clean water that you can continuously use for as long as you want.
Yet another eco shower gadget is the eco-drop shower. Designer Tommaso Colia has an eco-friendly shower design that will force you to get out when you take too long and waste much water. The eco_drop shower features beautiful concentric circles that rise and distort the shower floor.
You can now also get showerheads that mimic either a natural rain shower or waterfall shower. A good example is the Aqua Duetto showerhead by Jaloc which looks more like a spout than a shower head. The water gushes over you as opposed to being sprinkled on you like ordinary shower heads.
The Gessi Private Wellness Luxury Shower comes with a hydro massage system, as well as chromotherapy lights that you choose to have change or stay fixed. These lights can be adjusted to stay one color or change while you bathe.
You can also adjust the water settings of a Gessi Private Wellness Luxury Shower, which enables you to choose to bask in falling waters ranging from the downpours created by thunderstorms, to the pitter-pat of a soft spring rain. The shower then becomes a tactical, visual and aural experience which is very relaxing.
Believe it or not you don’t always need water to have a shower. You can now get an “air shower.” In the Riche Tamagawa Riverside complex located in Tokyo’s Ota-ku there is an “air-shower” system is meant to remove pollen, dust and other allergens from your person before you enter an immaculate sanctuary. It’s 2 meters tall and 90 centimeters wide, and contains 12 nozzles that pump air all over you for 20 seconds, presumably enough time to get you squeaky clean.
